Tokaj Harvest Day Trip
Saturdays October 9 and 16
Come experience the Tokaj harvest with us! We will spend the afternoon at a family vineyard, where there will be the opportunity to visit the vineyards, help pick the grapes, and see the famous aszú berries (the botrytised grapes used for making sweet Tokaj wine). The harvest in Tokaj occurs later than in other regions to give the grapes the chance to reach the “noble rot.” This harvest trip will be a great opportunity for novices to Tokaj wine to learn about the unique process of creating these famous sweet wines. For those who are already pros at drinking Tokaj wine, experiencing Tokaj during the harvest period will add to your appreciation of this “Wine of Kings, King of Wines.” There will be plenty of food, and great wine throughout the day.
Cost: The price for this day trip is 30,000 HUF per person, all-inclusive of transportation, wine tastings, and meals.

Taste Hungary Wine Workshop {Furmint}
When: Thursday, June 3 at 7pm
Where: A private apartment (in Buda, near the Chain Bridge).
Cost: 7,000 HUF {includes instruction, 10 furmints, mineral water, and generous borkorcsolya (snacks) to complement the wine}

Wine & A Movie
When: May 22nd. Tasting begins at 5:00pm. Movie begins at 6:30pm.

Taste Hungary Wine Workshops {Class #1: Hungarian Sparklers}
When: Thursday March 25th, 6:30pm to 9pm
Where: Első Pesti Rétes Ház (V. Október 6. Utca 22)
Cost: 6,000 Ft, includes instruction, eight sparkling wines, light bites from the Első Pesti Rétes Ház, and mineral water.
