Cooking Classes

So you are staying in an apartment rental in Budapest with a full kitchen. You have been to the Hungarian markets and you’d like to know just what it is that Hungarians do with all of that bounty in the kitchen. Following a market tour (or in lieu of a market tour) Carolyn Bánfalvi can come to your kitchen (and bring whatever cooking supplies are missing) to create a Hungarian meal with you. The menu will include several seasonal recipes (which you we will confirm in advance), and she’ll leave you with copies of them so you can recreate your Hungarian adventure back at home.

Before we make any reservations, you will have a chance to review the itinerary and we can make any adjustments required. We will suggest special dishes to order at restaurants, wines worth sampling, products to shop for, and even buildings to stop and admire along the way. We can make whatever reservations you will need, and we will let you know if there are any holidays or festivals coinciding with your trip. We can provide public transportation instructions, recommend car rental companies, and suggest hotels based on your travel style and budget.
